Soft Washing, Lordswood

Even with the boiler unit on its highest heat with the pressure dialled right down it can still be just that little too much for the likes of a brick wall with compromised mortar. This is when letting chemicals work for us is the perfect solution. We had a customer contact us on one of our social media pages asking if we could clean a couple of her garden walls that had quite a build up of algae, moss and general organic stains however she mentioned how fragile the mortar had become over the years, and they had attempted to pressure wash it but quickly realised this would just cause more damage than good. We explained what our approach would be and how we could achieve a great result using a soft washing method with the correct choice of chemicals. The customer was happy to hear this can be done so we went ahead and quoted the work, won the job and booked in a time and date to return.

When we arrived on site our first priority was to heavily rinse the surrounding areas of the walls with water so the chemical we were about to apply would not affect where we didn’t want it too. The cleaning solution was applied with multiple passes and applications whilst regularly rinsing the surrounding areas. We managed to remove a huge bulk of the stains and growth from the walls bringing a fresher look to them all whilst keeping the work safe for the surrounding areas.
