Soft Washing, Upchurch

We had a local business owner who runs a wedding venue reach out asking us to come take a look at a few bits he wanted to have cleaned. When we arrived on site we were shown around and shown the bits he wanted cleaned, firstly there were several horse boxes that have been converted to outdoor toilets which had a build up of algae and lichen growing on their exterior surfaces. We were then brought over to the waters edge where three boats sat however he wished for a quote for the primary boat which had future plans to become involved in the wedding venue. Due to being in a natural area with lots of surrounding flora alongside being on the waters edge there had been quote a build up of slippery green algae on the walking deck of the boat deeming it a little unsafe to walk on especially during a rainfall. After measuring it all up we went away, finalised a quote which was accepted by the customer and a date booked in the diary to return to carry out the work.

Due to the surrounding natural environment and the boat being on the river the method of cleaning had be our primary focus, how to clean all of this safely taking the surrounding environment into account whilst also bringing a good cleaning result. We opted for a soft washing method using environmentally friendly, food grade cleaning agents along with thorough brushing and heavy rinsing of water to remove the organic build-ups we brought about amazing results that the customer was very pleased with which has now led to ongoing work and building a business relationship.
